My base is 100% Bamboo, and my bristles are Sisal Fibre form the Agave Plant... which is a by product when tequila is made... SALUD!
I can be a little problematic... but trust me I mean well!
I'm made from beautiful/natural bamboo which means I'm biodegradable! But...the first step in the process of wood breaking down is… you got it mould.
If mould has started to prematurely attack me, I recommend using a mix of white vinegar, dish soap and a thick dose of sunshine to bring me back to life!
When embracing sustainable choices, understanding the quirks of natural products becomes essential. Our wooden brush heads might like to grow a little mould, however with the right care you can keep them looking great!
Alternatively, we have the next best thing which is brush head that uses 100%recycled plastic (the waste stream we all need to find ways to use wisely) to replace the bamboo and lasts/looks immaculate for many more months.
