Refund policy

Did you change your mind? No stress, It happens! 

You can choose to return your order for a credit note or exchange (NO REFUNDS). Online purchases can be returned in-store or online via courier (at your own cost) according to the returns and exchanges/credit note policy detailed below. 


TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS 

- Items must be unused, with tags and in the same condition it was delivered in.

- Items must be returned to the store within 14 days of purchase. 

Returns are NOT eligible for:

- Sale items (all purchases are final) 

- Bath, Body, or Fragrance products (this includes candles, hand cremes, diffusers)  

 *No exchange or credit note will be issued if these terms are not met* 

If eligible for exchange or credit note the item must be sent or brought into our Glenelg store. If you are posting your item back to us please email us at Office@homebasics.com.au to ensure we know your request for either exchange or credit note.

Once your item is received and inspected we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item. Credit notes will be issued via email and will be able to be used in-store or online, credit notes last for 6 months. In the case of exchanges, our team will notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange, depending on whether the item requested for an exchange is still in stock. If the item requested for an exchange is unavailable, a credit note will be issued via email. If you are approved, then your exchange will be processed, and the new item will be delivered to the previous delivery location.   


DAMAGED ITEMS
If your product is defective or damaged you are eligible for a refund, exchange, or credit note within 14 days of purchase. A photo and description must be emailed to Office@Homebasics.com.au  as well as your request for either a refund, exchange, or credit note, or the item can be brought in-store and our staff can resolve this for you. The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and must also be in the original packaging. Postage cost will be at your own cost.
