Returns & Refunds

At Home Basics, we want you to love your purchase - but we also understand some things just don't work out.

You can choose to return your order for a credit note, refund or exchange. Online purchases can be returned in-store or via courier (at your own cost) according to the returns and exchanges/credit note policy detailed below. 

If you're not 100% satisfied then please get in contact with our amazing team to discuss a refund, exchange or credit note. Please ensure you include your order number.

Change of Mind Returns Policy

  • We accept online change-of-mind returns within 30 days of purchase.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on change-of-mind returns. 
  • We recommend using a trackable service or shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned goods.
  • Please note that refunds may not be approved for items that have been used or appear to have been used for photoshoots.

Non-Refundable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Health and personal care items

Faulty or Damaged Items

  • If your item is faulty or damaged, please get in touch with us straight away.
  • We’ll provide a full refund or replacement.
  • We request photo or video evidence to assess the fault.

Refunds

  • Once approved, refunds are processed back to your original payment method.
  • Refunds typically appear within a few business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
